How it works

Drag on the photo to draw a new crop, drag inside the box to move it, or drag a corner to resize. Pick a ratio to lock the shape. The pixel fields always show the crop in the original photo's pixels, so you can type exact values. The saved file is cut from the full-size photo, not the preview.

Why it stays private

The photo is opened by your browser and never uploaded. Nothing is stored. The saved file is drawn from a canvas, so EXIF data like location and camera details is not copied.

Questions

Which ratio is right for social posts?

4:5 suits portrait feed posts, 1:1 squares, and 9:16 stories and short videos. 16:9 matches most video players and slides.

Does cropping lower quality?

PNGs stay lossless. JPEGs are saved again at high quality (92), which is very close to the original.

Can I crop to an exact size like 1080 × 1350?

Yes. Choose Free, then type the width and height into the fields. Use the resizer afterwards if you also need to change the scale.
